Dr. Aaron Shirley, chairman of the Jackson Medical Mall Foundation, was one of four individuals or organizations honored during the recent Whitney Young Awards Dinner held Tuesday, July 31 at the Jackson Medical Mall Thad Cochran Center.  Other award winners included Dr. Dewey Handy, Thomas Moman, Jr., and Anderson United Methodist Church in Jackson. All four received the Whitney Young, Jr. service award for their community leadership and outstanding support of scouting.  The annual awards dinner is sponsored by the Andrew Jackson Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Central District.
