About CRA 2009
The Jackson Medical Mall Foundation is giving its premiere community event, the Community Reinvestment Awards (CRA), a major facelift. This year's program promises to be better than ever. CRA 2009 will be a gala event, packed with enjoyable entertainment, exquisite entrees, a world renowned speaker, laughs and fellowship, and an overall pleasurable program. The Foundation is pleased to announce Dr. Benjamin Carson, Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at John Hopkins Children's Hospital, as this year's guest speaker. Dr. Carson will share his life story and give inspiration and motivation to remain steadfast and always serve the community.
CRA 2009 is a bit different this time around because the Foundation is raising money for four agencies diligently working to promote healthcare, education, literacy, and the well-being in children. The Foundation will recognize the CRA 2009 Grand Award Recipients and Honorees during the Banquet.
The CRA 2009 Grand Award Recipients will receive a monetary award based on funds raised through CRA. The Foundation will also give 2-4 scholarships to outstanding graduating seniors in the JPS District.
Attire for CRA is Business/Semi-Formal.
