“Raise the Roof” Gives Deserving Seniors the Best Home Ever!
The Jackson Medical Mall Foundation staff and volunteers strapped on t-shirts and jeans to “Raise the Roof”.  The Senior Home Renovation Project took place July 21-25.  We completed minor renovations for two houses in the district.  Foundation staff and volunteers painted, replaced tile and wood paneling, reworked plumbing, and gave two senior citizens a home that was not only practical and gorgeous, but safe on the inside and out.  We want to send a special THANK YOU to everyone who participated, especially to our sponsors: Fountain Construction, Leadership Greater Jackson Class of 2007-2008, BankPlus, Wal-Mart, and City of Jackson Housing and Development.  “Raise the Roof” was also featured on WLBT and WAPT.
