Need Help Finding Help?  Medical Mall Offers Justice

Stuck in a rut and need help, but do not know where to find it?  Are you in debt or need some legal advice?  You are not alone.  We all could use a lawyer every now and then.  The Jackson Medical Mall Foundation is providing that opportunity with a totally FREE one-on-one consultation with a member of the Mississippi Center for Justice.  All you have to do is bring copies of letters, financial statements, or other documents related to your situation to Center Stage of the Jackson Medical Mall Thad Cochran Center on Thursday, November 20, 2008 to receive some free advice.  The consultations are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  No appointment is necessary. 


Participants will get free information and legal advice that can help you break out of payday lending debt, get control of mortgage payments even if you are few months behind, access healthcare for your children, protect your child’s rights at school, and more.  Participants will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.

“Giving Back and Helping Families” Can Food Drive

Almost everyone is experiencing though financial times. People are losing their jobs and their homes.  Most folks are trying to take care of their families and survive during this economic crisis. With that in mind, the Jackson Medical Mall Foundation is sponsoring a can food drive to assist families in need throughout the community, to be donated to a local shelter by Christmas.  If you would like to make a donation to this worthy cause, drop your can goods at the blue barrels near the main Security Desk.


You can also share the giving cheer by make monetary donations for our Adopt-A-Family.  There is a glass cabinet near the main Security Desk, where you can drop coins and dollars or give the Foundation office a call at (601) 982-8467.  We appreciate your kindness.


It's A Buyer's Market


Would you like to walk through the door of your very own home for the first time, but you are afraid to apply for a mortgage loan because you have bad credit?  If you can answer yes to this question, then the Jackson Medical Mall Foundation wants to help you become a first time home-buyer, even if you think your credit could be an issue.  Call Housing Resource Specialist Amia Edwards at (601) 982-8467 or email at aedwards@jacksonmedicalmall.org to find out how you can get on our Homebuyer Program list and take the right classes that will get you on the road to owning your own home.  The next class is set for January 2009.
